The Affiliates Committee meets twice yearly to discuss best
avenues available to interact with producer members, and to
discuss ways to support the efforts of CPCA in helping all
its members. This committee elects the Affiliate
representative to the CPCA Board of Directors.
Chair: Cliff Ohlwiler, Oldcastle Precast, Inc.
Vice Chair: Jeff Friedman , Jensen Precast - Nor Cal
The committee's primary focus is the promotion of
cementicious precast products on Caltrans projects. The
committee will advise and review specifications regarding
the design, production, transportation and installation of
precast elements. The committee also provides a liaison
between Caltrans officials and CPCA membership.

This committee is responsible for monitoring legislation and issues impacting the precast industry as well as providing useful information in communications with legislators and regulators.

The primary function of the membership and marketing committee is to promote the California Precast Concrete Association to producers of cementicious precast products in the state of California, as well as to suppliers who support the precast industries (affiliates). The committee is in charge of maintaining the association website and to engage in promotional efforts that will attract new members (both producer and affiliate) while enhancing or improving the benefits of the current membership.

This committee follows all industrial safety issues, workers' comp issues, provides updated materials to members, and assures that members have a resource for safety guidelines. CPCA maintains a lending library of educational and training videos provided to members at no charge. This committee is also charged with the responsibility of tracking legislative and regulatory developments of environmental concern to producer members.

Environmental Sub-Committee Chair: Diane Kindermann, Abbott & Kindermann LLP
CPCA’s Technical Committee is comprised of precast concrete manufacturers with knowledge and expertise in the industry. The Committee presents technical seminars, production schools for precasters, informational posters, and topic papers. The Committee can help with: current and ongoing regulation process, training and educational seminar, and tours of precast operations. Members of the Technical Committee are ready to assist all producers with any technical or production issues that are of concern to them. This committee is also charged with the responsibility of tracking regulatory developments of environmental concern to producer members.
